If hunting and watching birds currently migrating in your region is your passion then you are at the right place. WindMig is the website that allows you to follow the bird migration in Europe in a simple and detailed way.

If you just want to surf on the website, choose the game you are interested in and walk around the calendar to observe the different movements.

Zoom and move within the maps: a table gathering all observations updates automatically.Move your mouse over the table to plot the observations on the map.The colour of the markers change with the intensity of the observed movement. Put your mouse over themarkers to get more information.

You want to contribute to WindMig and add your own observations? Create an account, choose the spots on the mapwhere you want to perform your observations and share the number of birds you see. It is very easy.

WindMig allows you also to get detailed weather forecasts for any european zone. Just decide which spots you want to follow.

You can also create weather forecast alerts for these spots on the basis of your own criteria: direction and strength ofthe wind, temperature, etc. You receive a daily email when your criteria are verified.

A forum is available to share with the other members about hunting, migration and weather.

roland29 Bannalec 29380-France		Belle journée sous le soleil dans une commune voisine. 2 chasseurs 4 chiens, une douzaine de levées, mais plusieurs partaient de loin. Quelques beaux arrêts quand même. woodcock: forest / few shooters wo:12
doj24 Villefranche-du-Périgord 24550-France		Sortie 1h45 cet après-midi avec mes 2 compères Icare et Salto sous un beau soleil mais avec un petit vent frais. Ce matin -4°. Nous sommes allés faire des places au soleil dans les taillis de châtaigniers et buissons noirs relativement fourrés. La 1ère bécasse a été magnifiquement bloquée et coulée par Salto seul comme un grand avec un rapport magistral. Le seconde à l'arrêt de mes 2 chiens pas vue et pas retrouvée. La 3ième trouvée par Salto, pas vue puis retrouvée par Icare pas vue non plus et pas retrouvée. Enfin pour la 4ième qui est partie au sons des grelots, je l'ai vu se poser dans le tertre en face de moi à environ 150 mètres mais aussitôt que mes chiens m'ont rejoint, elle a entendu les grelots et je l'ai vu repartir à nouveau. Vraiment légère celle-là comme les autres d'ailleurs. Enfin belle après-midi quand même et ô combien heureux d'avoir vu travailler Salto, seul devant moi. woodcock: forest / few shooters wo:4
