If hunting and watching birds currently migrating in your region is your passion then you are at the right place. WindMig is the website that allows you to follow the bird migration in Europe in a simple and detailed way.

If you just want to surf on the website, choose the game you are interested in and walk around the calendar to observe the different movements.

Zoom and move within the maps: a table gathering all observations updates automatically.Move your mouse over the table to plot the observations on the map.The colour of the markers change with the intensity of the observed movement. Put your mouse over themarkers to get more information.

You want to contribute to WindMig and add your own observations? Create an account, choose the spots on the mapwhere you want to perform your observations and share the number of birds you see. It is very easy.

WindMig allows you also to get detailed weather forecasts for any european zone. Just decide which spots you want to follow.

You can also create weather forecast alerts for these spots on the basis of your own criteria: direction and strength ofthe wind, temperature, etc. You receive a daily email when your criteria are verified.

A forum is available to share with the other members about hunting, migration and weather.

doj24 Villefranche-du-Périgord 24550-France		Sortie 1h30 cet après-midi sous un beau soleil et une T° de 12/13°. Ce matin -5°. Une température enfin normale pour la saison. Avec mes 2 compagnons, nous sommes allés faire des places que nous n'avions pas faites de la saison. En partant à 20m de la voiture, dans un endroit très épais, arrêt d'icare patronné par Salto. Comme je ne peux pas m'y avancer, au bout d'une ou deux minutes, j'entends la belle partir. On la retrouvera un peu plus loin en bordure d'un pré. Elle part derrière les branches, je peux tirer qu'une fois et je pense l'avoir manquée. Je rappelle mes chiens pour aller à sa recherche lorsque, à ma grande surprise, je vois arriver Icare avec la bécasse dans la gueule. Heureusement qu'il rapporte si non je la perdais. Ensuite, dans un autre fourré très épais un autre arrêt mais comme la première, je l'entends partir. On la retrouvera 2 fois. Ensuite, nous sommes allés faire une autre place aussi très sale. 2 arrêts sur des places chaudes, mais la belle ne nous a pas attendue. Une super après-midi pour moi et mes 2 compagnons avec Icare toujours au top et Salto en plein apprentissage surtout quand on voit des bécasses comme ça. Ici c'est pas la Bretagne. Alors qu'en j'en trouve 3, je suis tout à fait satisfait. woodcock: forest / few shooters wo:3
