If hunting and watching birds currently migrating in your region is your passion then you are at the right place. WindMig is the website that allows you to follow the bird migration in Europe in a simple and detailed way.

If you just want to surf on the website, choose the game you are interested in and walk around the calendar to observe the different movements.

Zoom and move within the maps: a table gathering all observations updates automatically.Move your mouse over the table to plot the observations on the map.The colour of the markers change with the intensity of the observed movement. Put your mouse over themarkers to get more information.

You want to contribute to WindMig and add your own observations? Create an account, choose the spots on the mapwhere you want to perform your observations and share the number of birds you see. It is very easy.

WindMig allows you also to get detailed weather forecasts for any european zone. Just decide which spots you want to follow.

You can also create weather forecast alerts for these spots on the basis of your own criteria: direction and strength ofthe wind, temperature, etc. You receive a daily email when your criteria are verified.

A forum is available to share with the other members about hunting, migration and weather.

Une matinée sympa avec deux oiseaux différents dont une levée 3 fois.

Chassé 2h30 cet après-midi sous un beau soleil avec mon ami Alain. Ce matin, petite gelée à -2,5°. Avant que j'arrive, Mac, le pointer d'Alain a trouvé une bécasse à 3 reprises mais hélas elle ne tenait pas l'arrêt. Nous ne l'avons pas retrouvée. Nous avons continué notre quête et dans un taillis très épais, Icare en a trouvé une autre qu'il a coulé sur 150 ou 200m et à une vitesse impressionnante. Je croyais que c'était un lièvre. J'ai essayé de le suivre tant bien que mal au milieu des ronces et buissons noirs et elle a enfin daigné s'envoler mais à une bonne trentaine de mètres devant nous au milieu des branchages. Je l'ai saluée à 2 reprises. Nous ne l'avons pas retrouvée. Pendant ce temps-là, Alain et Mac en ont aussi levé une à 3 reprises mais sans pouvoir la bloquer. Il ne l'a saluée qu'une fois et on ne l'a pas retrouvée. De vraies sorcières... Il faut dire aussi qu'elles sont beaucoup dérangées avec les chasseurs de gros dans le secteur. Ceci explique peut-être celà.

Petit tour ce matin du loulou avec mon père. Après quelques coups de truffe mais rien de probant, la cloche s'arrête enfin.... la belle et déjà partie, après une petite recherche mon père laisse faire le loulou, l'endroit n'est pas des plus propre et le loulou va vite. La belle se relève et passe a une belle distance, au cas où il tante le tir pas de chance. La recherche sera vaine elle a encore gagnée.
